The modern user is often faced with the problem of "slowing down" the computer. Today we will consider two ways to check the performance of the system: the first - using the Windows Task Manager, familiar to most users of desktop PUs, the second - using the Windows Performance Index, in an equally convenient but little-known way.

Computer, Windows installed, standard applications of this system, this manual
Instructions
Step 1
If you need to know exactly the speed of your system, then this method is very convenient and suitable for more experienced users, since it shows not only the speed of the processor, but also of individual parts of the computer. In order to determine the level of work for this method, you must press the key combination alt="Image" + Ctrl + Delete;
Step 2
Select Task Manager;
Select the "Performance" tab;
And on this tab you can see if your computer is working in full mode, or if you should upgrade it.
This method can also be used by right-clicking on the command line. Then, in the context menu that appears, select the Task Manager, which will appear already with the tab we need open.
Step 3
Windows is equipped with a useful utility called the Performance Index. This product measures the performance of your computer based on five key points, and shows the assessment of each of them, and, of course, the overall one. Moreover, the overall score cannot be higher than the minimum indicator among the components. At the moment, the performance rating is calculated from 1 to 5, 9. And such ratings as 6, 0 and higher Microsoft left for later, that is, for more powerful computers.
Step 4
In order to use this application, you need:
Log in to the control panel;
Launch the Performance Index application;
Click on the "Check" button;
Thus, if your Windows Performance Index scores below 3, you should consider upgrading or replacing your machine with a new one. If you showed above 3, then you have nothing to worry about.
