Dust entering the laptop through targets in the chassis and keyboard will negatively affect its performance. Over time, it leads to overheating and a drop in performance. To avoid this, the laptop must be periodically cleaned from dust. Someone prefers to contact the service center, but you can do it yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
For a start, you can try to get by with a little effort. The laptop has an outlet - a grill on the bottom of the case, possibly on the side, it is responsible for the release of warm air and protection from overheating. Try to blow it gently, not with your mouth, but with a hairdryer or vacuum cleaner. When using the latter, make sure that the air flow is not very strong, otherwise you may damage some part. By blowing through the hole, you will blow out some of the dust, and perhaps your device will perform better. But if the device is seriously clogged, and there has been no cleaning for a long time, you still have to disassemble it.
Step 2
We disconnect the laptop from the network, disconnect all additional devices connected to it, take out the battery. Then we take a vacuum cleaner and clean the keyboard to remove dust between the buttons (again, not low power). Next, we take a rag, cotton wool or napkin, moisten it with alcohol and wipe the buttons. There is no need to pull out the keys - it is not a fact that you will not damage them, and then you will be able to insert them back. You can get to the inside of the laptop from the other side. (Although if you know how to do this, or you have a spare keyboard, then why not!
Step 3
We turn the laptop over, unscrew all the bolts with a screwdriver, remove the back cover. Again, carefully run the vacuum cleaner over the entire surface, thus removing the main dust. Then we proceed to extracting the components. Remember their location carefully so that you can return everything to its place later. Take a disassembled picture of the laptop and arm yourself with instructions - the hour has come when you need it. Remember also in what sequence the parts were removed, which screw was screwed where.
Step 4
We remove and clean the cooling system well. It is on the cooler and radiator that the greatest amount of dust and dirt accumulates. Disconnect the fan and clean it thoroughly, and then you can lubricate its axle with machine oil so that it works longer. Blow off dust from all boards (including the motherboard) and microcircuits, while do not use cotton wool, wet wipes or a wet rag, so that later a short circuit does not occur. It is better not to touch the motherboard at all, just blow gently.
Step 5
Take a small brush and brush it over any hard-to-reach places, removing any dust accumulation.
Step 6
Collect the laptop you cleaned one by one. After removing the dust, if there was a lot of it, you should notice. that the device will start to overheat less and "slow down". And it is possible that replacing it with a new computer may still wait.
