Most mobile phone models support flash cards. One of the common types is MMC memory. However, some users face the problem of unlocking such cards after setting a password on them.
Instructions
Step 1
The first option is to format the flash card. Try to implement it in one of the following ways. Insert the USB flash drive into your computer's card reader, open "My Computer", right-click on its icon and select "Format". You can also try inserting the card into another phone or digital camera and try formatting with them.
Step 2
If you are using a smartphone, install one of the applications belonging to the file manager class on it. Run it and find a file called mmcstore, usually it has no extension. Open it - in it you will see the password from your flash drive.
Step 3
The third way is to use specialized PC software. The most popular among them are the following:
- Flashnul (https://shounen.ru/soft/flashnul/);
- MMC Password Tool;
- MMC Medic.
Step 4
The fourth way is to use a device called MMC Unlock Clip. It works autonomously and does not require a connection to a computer. Connect the clip provided on the device to the 9 V battery. Insert the locked MMC card into the corresponding connector. If the red indicator located on the device starts blinking quickly, then the flash drive is unlocked. Slow blinking of the indicator may indicate that the card has no password, or it is not recognized. Check that it is securely connected to the device and the contacts are clean. In addition to the battery, MMC Unlock Clip can be powered from the computer's USB port.
Step 5
Alternatively, MMC UnLocker can be used. This device is capable of working both connected to a PC and in a completely autonomous mode. In the second case, its use is no different from MMC Unlock Clip. Power is also supplied either from the battery or from the USB port.
