Archived files not only take up less space, but also make it easy to email any number of files in one click. When you receive such an archive with files by mail, it is not always clear what to do with it next.

Step 1
So, you have a file in a format unknown to you, which the computer does not recognize, but you are assured that it is an archive, and you need to unpack it to get to the contents. To unpack such a file, you need to download to your computer and install a special program that can unpack files. Such programs are called "archivers". They are different, but they perform the same tasks, so you can choose any of them: WinZip, WinRar, 7Zip.
Step 2
First of all, download one of the archivers to your computer. This can be done on any of the official developer sites: www.corel.com, www.win-rar.ru, www.7-zip.org. After the program is loaded, install it following the instructions of the installation wizard
Step 3
To unpack a file, right-click on it and select one of the items in the menu that appears:
1. If you have installed the WinZip archiver - click on the line "WinZip" and then "Extract to …".
2. If you have installed the WinRar archiver - click on the line "Extract files …".
3. If you have installed the 7Zip archiver - click on the line "7-Zip" and then "Extract files …".
A window with the contents of your computer will appear in front of you. In this window, select the folder where you want to save the unpacked files, and click "OK". Ready!
