Step 1
The easiest way to find out the model of the motherboard is to look at it on the sticker on the box from it. However, you first need to find this box, and there is often no certainty that this box is from the right board.

The second way is to look at the board itself. To do this, remove the case cover from the side of the motherboard connectors and take a close look at it. The name label can be applied in several places, most often in front of or between expansion card slots. The difficulty lies in the fact that there is more than one marking, and it can be quite difficult to find out which of the inscriptions is the name of the board.

It may also happen that access to the motherboard will be impossible. For example, the case is sealed with warranty seals. In this case, the AIDA64 Extreme Edition computer testing program will help you. Download and install it. After installation, it will start automatically. If it doesn't, start it manually from the list of installed programs in the Start menu.
Step 4
In the window of the running program, on the left, there is a vertically located field for selecting elements. Select "System Board". In the submenu that appears, place the mouse cursor on the item with the same name and click on it. In the right part of the window, complete information about the motherboard will appear, including its name; in the list of characteristics it is located in the line "Motherboard".
