Step 1

Launch Adobe Photoshop to decompose the image into layers. Execute the command "File" - "New" to create the image. In the window that opens, set the following parameters: image size, desired color mode, background content, then click "OK". In the Layers window at the bottom right of the window, double-click on the background layer to convert it to working and click OK.

Step 2

Fill the background with the Gradient tool to start creating the image layer by layer. You can also fill with a solid color. After finishing work on the background layer, you can rename it, for this double-click on its name in the layers palette, enter a new name and press Enter. Next, add a new layer by clicking on the button in the layers palette.

Step 3

To compose an image from layers in Photoshop, create a layer for each individual element of the image. For example, if you are processing a photo (frame it), create a separate background layer, copy the photo on a separate layer. You should also have different decorative elements on different layers: inscriptions, pictures, flowers, and also a frame.

Step 4

Create a group of layers to disassemble the layers in Photoshop to belong to a separate part of the image. To do this, click the button with the image of a folder on the layers palette. Next, drag the required layers onto the created group to sort the layers into groups.

Step 5

Disassemble the already existing image into layers. To do this, open it in the program, just drag the file from the folder window into the Adobe Photoshop window. Next, select individual elements of the image, and press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + J. You can select a part of the image using the Magic Wand tools (selects areas of similar color), Quick Selection (selects areas by color contrast), the Lasso tool group.
