Some users of the Word text editor sometimes encounter a modified version of the working window. An additional frame suddenly appears on it with callouts in the form of arrows and strange inscriptions - "Formatted" and "Deleted". The answer to the question of how to remove frames in Microsoft Word is hidden in the toolbar.
Necessary
Review panel, Frame Format menu
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the "View" menu. Next, open the "Toolbar" item. Turn on the display of the "Review" panel, which contains commands for finding errors in a word processing document. They are the ones who automatically leave their notes and corrections on a special side frame.
Step 2
Take a close look at the top menu bar. A new Review tab should appear next to the View tab. Click on it with the mouse, since you can remove frames in Microsoft Word exactly there. Next, find and open the "Modified Document" command in the drop-down list. In order to remove the frame with notes and corrections, select "Show -> Leaders -> Never".
Step 3
Borders and table of contents of a text document can also be indicated by frames. To remove a specific frame, right-click on it. From the list of commands, select Format Frame. Click on the "Delete" button.
Step 4
If you need to delete a frame along with the text contained within it, then move the mouse cursor over the border of the frame itself. Press the "Delete" key. To remove all enclosing text frames, use the "Remove Frames" function, which is located in the "Format" menu, the "Frames" section.
