Intermittent power failures or power surges cause the date on your computer to fail. This can be avoided by using a line filter, which stabilizes the voltage in the network. Viruses that penetrate the system from the Internet also cause dates to fail. In order to set the date, you need to complete a simple procedure.
Instructions
Step 1
Right-click on the clock located in the Quick Access Toolbar.
Step 2
In the window that appears, select the item "Date / time settings" and click on it with the left mouse button.
Step 3
Select the desired month, year and day. Check the time and correct it if necessary.
Step 4
After setting the date, click "Apply", then "OK". Then check if the date has changed on the computer. To do this, move the cursor over the clock, if the correct date is displayed in the window that appears, then everything went well. If not, then repeat all over again.
