Step 1
The excellent utility NetLimiter does the job. It helps to limit the Internet speed in any modem without any problems. Download the program from the Internet. Install NetLimiter on your computer and restart it. The installation will complete. Turn on NetLimiter. There is a "Create Filter" option on the control panel. By clicking on it, you can enable filter settings.
Step 2
In order to limit the speed in the modem, you need to add a new rule for the application, for example, a browser. In the list with the proposed processes, select the process you need. In the right pane, click on the "Add Rule" item. Next, a proposal will appear to limit the speed or transmission, or reception of traffic. Refer to a scheduler who will enforce time limits.

You can try the following. Go to "Start" and click the "Run" tab. In the "Command Line" write the command gpedit.msc. Go to "Administrative Templates" and click "Network" and "Dispatcher". Click the Enabled tab and select a percentage rate.

The TMeter program will help you to limit the speed. Download and install it on your computer. Run the program and a window will open in front of you. On the left you will see a list of all possible actions. You can refer to the item you need. To do this, go to "Filtering counters" or "URL filtering". Make the necessary settings there.

Download and install NetPolice Lite. This is a great utility that provides internet speed limiting. To carry out this operation, you just need to turn on the filter. To enable it, you must enter the required password in the provided window. Similarly, you can turn off filtering. There will be an indicator on the toolbar that shows whether the filter is enabled or disabled.
