Opera is one of the most popular browsers that is not without its drawbacks. For example, it stops loading at the most inopportune moment, does not turn on or constantly crashes during operation.
The Opera browser, which is so popular among Internet users, often stops loading after active use. At the same time, several different problems stand out: not a single page on the network is loaded, only individual pages are not loaded, the browser does not turn on at all (it gives an error). Each of the problems has its own solution.
Doesn't load pages
If Opera has stopped loading all pages, instead of them you see only a white background and nothing else, then most likely the cache is already full. The cache is a separate folder on the computer where the browser stores intermediate files. When there are a lot of them, and most of them are not used, the browser simply stops working. To restore Opera to work, you need to clear the cache. It's easy to do: go to the local drive where the browser was installed. Find a folder named Opera (by default, the path to it looks like this: C: / Users / Username / AppData / Roaming /) and delete it. After that, restart your computer, turn on your browser and try it out.
If Opera has stopped loading only certain pages (for example, social networks), then you can try both cleaning the cache and changing the browser settings. To do this, go to the "Advanced" item in the "Operas" menu, the "Content" tab. Check the list of blocked pages for the ones you are looking for. If so, give them access to work. Sometimes some links do not load in Opera because antivirus or Firewall does not let them through, seeing a hidden threat. Check your antivirus settings in this case, manually provide access to blocked sites if you are sure of their safety.
If all the above steps do not help, and Opera still does not load pages, then clean the system of errors and temporary files with a special program (for example, Ccleaner, TuneUp or Auslogic Boostspeed). After cleaning, uninstall the browser and reinstall it.
Opera does not turn on, gives an error
If the browser does not turn on at all, it constantly gives an error (for example, Opera is still closing), then, most likely, the browser was previously closed by you, but the process of its work remained in the system. It must be terminated forcibly in order for the browser to become available to you. To do this, go to the task manager, the "Processes" tab. Look for a file named opera.exe there. If it is, then stop its work. Then try restarting Opera.
In cases where the browser does not work either after cleaning the cache or after reinstalling, it makes sense to check the system for viruses with various antiviruses and medical utilities. It is possible that your computer is infected with malware that slows down the operation of Opera, and later spoil the entire system.
