Instructions
Step 1
Users who have downloaded, for example, a book in DjVu format, may have a problem opening it. The fact is that you need a special program to view it. The most common of the existing ones is the so-called WinDjVu reader. It is distributed free of charge, on the basis of AsIs (which means "As is"). Please note: several different versions of this program have been created, therefore, both a download of a specific assembly and a simple file that can be used without installing on a computer are available. By the way, to download the reader, you can go to the site
Step 2
Depending on which version of the program you download, this interface language will be installed. For the most part, English is activated by default in WinDjVu. To switch to the desired language, go to the View section, then to Languages, and select it from the list. Restart the reader for the settings to take effect. Once you do this, all entries will be displayed in the set language.
Step 3
In addition, files of this format can be viewed directly through a browser. To do this, use the DjVu Browser Plugin add-on module. It is available for Opera, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. In addition to viewing documents, it will be possible to save DjVu documents using a special icon located on the toolbar (click on the image in the form of a floppy disk). A printout of the file in DjVu format is also available directly from the Internet: just click on the corresponding icon.
