Step 1
If a file is suspicious, but not recognized as a virus, the program places it in a special zone - quarantine. If you are sure that your files most likely do not contain malicious content, you can remove them from quarantine. Open the Kaspersky Anti-Virus window. To do this, click the "Start" button and find the program in the menu. You can also launch the program through the area in the taskbar next to the clock by double-clicking the left mouse button.
Step 2
Click on the inscription "Quarantine", located in the upper corner of the screen. You may have a later version of the program, look for a similar button or use the Kaspersky Anti-Virus help. Examine the list of quarantined files. Find the required files and highlight them. Right-click on the file and select "Remove from list" from the drop-down list. You can select any files stored in the memory of this software, but do not forget that the antivirus only in some cases mistakenly closes files to quarantine.
Step 3
Confirm your choice to the program and follow the procedure with all files that need to be removed from the quarantine area. Close the quarantine window by clicking the "Close" button at the bottom of the screen. Sometimes even information that you are sure about (say, home photos) is infected with malicious files. Follow the advice of an antivirus program and you will save your computer from infection. Even quarantined files can be disinfected and removed from the protection area.
