The functionality of the operating system largely depends on the software that is installed on the computer. Actually, without programs, the system is only a platform. At the moment, there are a large number of programs. As soon as the user realizes that he does not need any program, he tries to remove it using the standard means of the operating system, and this is not always possible to do correctly.
Necessary
Revo Uninstaller software
Instructions
Step 1
The standard utility for installing or removing programs is located in the Control Panel applet, but it does not always correctly uninstall the program, leaving in the system registry keys with parameters that litter the entire system database. Many experts recommend using third-party software such as Revo Uninstaller.
Step 2
How can this program differ from the standard utility - Revo Uninstaller can remove programs that were not in the list of installed programs. Also, this program constantly monitors registry changes, which in the future allows you to quickly and painlessly remove the program. Another plus of this program is that it is distributed absolutely free of charge and there are localizations of several countries.
Step 3
After starting the program, you will see the main window, which contains a list of all programs installed on the system. To remove a program, select it and click the "Remove" button. It should be noted that there are two buttons similar in name: "Delete" and "Delete item". The "Remove item" button allows you to remove the program name from the list - this means that the program will not be removed from the system.
Step 4
In the window that appears, after clicking on the "Delete" button, you must click the "Yes" button to confirm the selected operation. A new window will appear in front of you, which suggests choosing one of four possible options for uninstalling the program. The most optimal would be to activate the "Advanced" option. Select it and click Next.
Step 5
If the program has a built-in uninstaller, it should start. Uninstall the program using the standard uninstallation package. Then a window will appear on the screen in which you will be asked to "cover up the traces" of the application in the registry, because the program has already been removed. After completing the steps to remove unnecessary keys from the system registry, you can close Revo Uninstaller or start uninstalling another application.
