Instructions

Step 1

Make sure you have a drive that supports the write function. Check this information in the instructions for it. RW DVD + R DL - marking the drive that writes dual layer DVDs. If appropriate, then use the special program ImgBurn. Download it from the Internet and install it on your computer.

Step 2

Start ImgBurn. In the window that appears, select "Burn files / folders to disk". At the top there is a "Output" section - click on it. A list will appear from which you need to select "Device".

In the tab that appears, find the "Select folders" icon. An explorer will appear in front of you, in which specify the path to the files that you want to burn to the double-layer DVD. The program has a calculator with which you can check the amount of selected information. Make sure it is no larger than the disk size.

Step 4

After selecting the documents for recording, ImgBurn will offer to define the transition point to another layer. The Set Layer Change Position dialog box displays all the files that can serve as a transition. The one marked with a green star is the best, the blue one is very good, the yellow one is good, and the gray one is an acceptable point. It is best to use files that are marked with a green checkmark and show N / A in the SPLIP column. If this is not the case, you can also select with a gray mark, while selecting a file that in the "%" column will have a 50/50 ratio. Click OK.

Step 5

Insert the DVD into your drive. Go to the main menu of the program to the "Device" tab. Here you can choose the writing speed and the number of copies you want. Then click the "Create" button. A window will appear displaying the name of the volume. Confirm it by selecting the "Yes" button. And again agree to the layer change point. After that, the application will display information about the number of recorded files and their size, as well as the size of the disc itself. Click OK. This will start burning, the program will start working.

Step 6

After it is over, the quality of the information recording on the disk will begin to be rechecked. At the very end of the process, you will hear a beep and a corresponding window confirming the successful completion of recording a dual-layer disc.
