The sound effects section is most often present in the general settings of the Windows operating system. By setting the appropriate values and options, you can significantly improve the sound quality and make the sound more interesting.
Instructions
Step 1
Find the sound settings icon on the taskbar at the bottom right corner of your screen. If you click on it with the left mouse button, a volume bar will appear, with which you can add or subtract the sound, as well as turn it off completely. By right-clicking on the icon, you will see a context menu.
Step 2
Select the "Open volume control" option from the context menu. This will launch the advanced audio volume settings menu, where you can set not only the overall volume, but also the parameters of other connected audio devices: microphone, line-out devices, disc recorders, etc. You can also specify the sound balance here.
Step 3
Go to the Audio Settings menu by launching the Sounds and Audio Devices window. On its main tab, you can adjust the volume of the speakers, as well as set the necessary parameters for them, for example, indicate their type and number. If your computer is connected to a 5: 1 system, be sure to specify this, otherwise you will not be able to adjust the surround effect properly.
Step 4
If a sound card is connected to your computer, you will see an additional tab with its name. It contains additional parameters that can be set on this particular device. Find the Effects or Effects tab and select the appropriate settings.
Step 5
Click on the "Test" button to test the set sound parameters and effects. Follow the instructions on the screen. The system will perform a setup check during which you can hear sound from different speakers. Make sure the sound of all connected devices is properly tuned.
