With active work, the laptop keyboard quickly becomes dirty, and dust and sebum particles from the hands accumulate under the buttons. There are two ways to solve this problem.
Necessary
- - screwdriver;
- - soft cloth;
- - degreasing cleaning agent;
- - special cleaning putty.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn off your laptop. If it was connected to the mains, disconnect it. Take a screwdriver and gently pry one of the keys with it. So, take off all the keys and put them in a box or jar so you don't get lost. If you do not remember the exact location of the characters on the computer keyboard, take a picture of it before you start disassembling it.
Step 2
Take a soft cloth and saturate it with a little computer-grade cleaner. Carefully remove accumulated dirt, being careful not to touch the contacts unnecessarily. Also wipe the keyboard buttons thoroughly with a cleaning agent.
Step 3
Wait until the keyboard is completely dry and carefully put the buttons in place, observing the exact order of their arrangement.
Step 4
Purchase a special cleaning putty. It can be ordered from many online stores at an affordable price. Putty is a sticky and extremely malleable substance.
Step 5
Put putty on the keyboard. It does not need to be pressed specifically. Due to its plasticity, the putty seeps easily into the gaps between the buttons. Dust, crumbs and other debris stick to this sticky substance.
Step 6
Carefully remove the putty from the keyboard to avoid ripping off the buttons. Rinse it under warm running water and reuse if necessary.
