Step 1
The lock is turned on and off by pressing the same combination. On some models, the lock can be removed by holding down the hash or asterisk (snowflake) key located in the bottom row of the keyboard. To make sure this is the correct option, check these keys - one of them should have a key on it. As soon as the keypad is active, the phone will notify you with a short vibration and a message on the display.
Step 2
On other phones, the lock is removed by a combination: first the menu button, then the "asterisk". Do not wait for vibration, but a message will appear on the display.
