Step 1
To connect a network printer, it is necessary to sequentially press the buttons "Start", "Settings", "Printers and Faxes" on the local machine. In the "Printing Tasks" menu that opens, select the "Add Printer" item, which calls the built-in installation wizard. Next, you need to correctly answer the proposed questions, namely, mark the "network printer" with a dot, in the next window type a line that looks like this: / computer name printer and click the "Next" button.

In the event that the path to a network printer is in doubt, you can not type a line, but simply press the continue button, then the system itself will offer a list of machines equipped with printers. The window is named "Browse Printers". In the "Shared printers" field, just select the one to which you want to connect and continue by clicking the "Next" button. The setup wizard then prompts you to select "Default Printer". If you make a connected network printer as such by putting a full stop in the "Yes" window, then any document without additional questions will be sent to it.
Step 3
And finally, you need to complete the installation wizard, for which click "Finish". Just print a test page to make sure the installation is correct. If there are no problems with printing, then the installation process was successful.
