Some advanced users of Windows operating systems are accustomed to performing basic operations only through the command line. Using the command line, which is built into the system distribution kit, you can perform any operation and find out detailed information about the installed hardware.

Step 1
The command line can be launched in different ways. Because This is a standard utility for any Windows distribution, the executable file of this application can be found in the Start menu. Open it and select the "All Programs" section. In the list that opens, navigate to the "Standard" folder. Click the shortcut with the black console window.

You can also launch the command line through the Run applet, which is also located in the Start menu. An alternative launch of the application is to press the Win key combination (the button with the window image) + R. In the empty field of the applet, enter the cmd command and click the "OK" button.

A console will appear in front of you. To open the "Task Manager" just enter the command taskmgr and press the Enter key. You will see a dispatcher window, with which you can launch absolutely any application, if you go to the "Applications" tab.

But it is not always possible to start the "Task Manager" in this way. When a small window appears on the screen, which says that the administrator, who you are, has disabled this function, it indicates that your computer has been infected with a virus. Perhaps the virus itself is no longer active and the anti-virus system has blocked it, but the required application will not be able to start. To do this, you will have to edit the registry files.
Step 5
To start the registry editor, press Win + R again and enter the regedit command. After clicking the "OK" button, you will see the main program window. You need to find the DisableTaskMgr parameter in the HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem folder and change its value from "1" to "0".
Step 6
Depending on the version of the operating system, this parameter may not be present in this folder. Therefore, find the HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPolicies folder and replace the value of the DisableTaskMgr parameter from "1" to "0".
