Perhaps the most common program designed for this purpose is UltraIso. The key to its popularity is in functionality, because with its help you can not only run the image with the game, but also edit it by adding or removing certain files. If you just need to download the game, then after installing this program, launch it and find the "Tools" item in the top panel. Click on it and select "Mount to virtual drive", after which the image with the game will start and you can install it on your computer.
Step 2
There are not many programs that are not inferior in popularity to UltraIso, and one of them is Alcohol 120%. With its help, you can easily run games in iso format. To do this, after installing the program, launch it and find the panel with virtual drives at the bottom. Select one of them, right-click and click on "Mount image", after which the game will load. The only but significant drawback of this program is its status - it is a shareware program, and after the end of the trial period, if you want to use it in the future, you will have to pay for it.
Step 3
The only worthy competitor to these two programs is the well-known Daemon Tools. To use this program, install it and restart your computer. After which it will load automatically and will be visible in the tray next to the clock. Hover your mouse over it and press the right button. In the menu that opens, select the item "Virtual CD / DVD ROM", then "Mount image", and then select the file with your game. As with previous programs, it will start immediately.

Never try to unpack an iso file - although it looks like an archive, it is not, and after unpacking it may lose its functionality.
