With a computer, as with any technical device, sooner or later problems happen. Sometimes the car completely becomes unusable. What to do if an irreplaceable tool breaks down?
The computer is out of order: what to do and who to contact?
First, when a problem occurs with a computer, you need to determine the type of problem itself: perhaps the problem can be solved without wasting either money or precious time.
If there are errors or "bugs" related to the operation of the operating room ("blue screen of death", other errors related to the BIOS environment, or pop-up banner viruses on the desktop), then it is absolutely not necessary to go to the service center or use the warranty.
Often the cause of such problems is viruses or user actions, which lead to such errors. The best and one hundred percent working way to solve such problems is to reinstall the OS.
To reinstall the OS, you will need a disk or "flash drive" with the so-called "setup" of the OS, as well as minimal skills of working on a personal computer.
If neither one nor the other is available, you can turn to the Internet for help: download a "pirated" OS on the network, and then transfer it to a USB flash drive or disk (if you have another computer). Otherwise, you can turn to a neighbor or friend.
If there is neither a disk with an OS, nor a person with knowledge of the process of reinstalling the system, you must contact the service center of the manufacturer. This, of course, will cost you extra money and time.
Prevention of "health" of the computer
In order to avoid problems with your computer or laptop, you need to follow a set of very simple steps that will help increase the "shelf life" of the machine.
A common reason for a computer malfunction or complete failure of the "hardware" is overheating of one or another part. Overheating occurs for two reasons: due to lack of cooling (broken cooler, too much dust layer, etc.), or due to an unsuccessful attempt to "overclock" the processor, video card or other component of the computer.
Firstly, it is worth cleaning the computer every three months: this will reduce the load that occurs naturally due to dust lying on the surface of a particular part.
So the popular "overclocking" of a processor or video card is carried out only by experienced specialists, and not by amateur users. To improve the performance of a part, you need to have knowledge of the OS and the components of the PC themselves.
The most common reason for the failure of an OS is "littering" the system with viruses. In order not to let the operating system itself break down, you need to do a regular global scan of the hard disk for viruses or, even better, install and activate any antivirus that has a real-time scan function. Such a program, although it will slow down the system, will increase the security of your data.
