If Windows is unstable due to system changes, you can use a restore point to return the system to an earlier state. However, a large number of checkpoints accumulated over time can take up quite a lot of hard disk space. To free up space, checkpoints can be deleted from time to time, leaving only the most recent one.
Instructions
Step 1
We enter the "Start" menu. Go to the "My Computer" section. Select the hard drive on which you want to free up space. By clicking on it with the right mouse button, go to the "Properties" item. Click on the "Disk Cleanup" button.
Step 2
Go to the "Advanced" tab. In the "System Restore" section, click on the "Clean" button.
Step 3
To remove all restore points except the last one, click OK. We confirm the deletion by clicking on the "Yes" button. And we complete the operation by clicking the OK button again.
