Step 1
Open Opera. Go to the "Tools" menu, then open the browser settings and select the "Advanced" item. Then "Content" and "JavaScript Settings". In the Options Settings window that appears on the screen, completely delete the text "Custom JavaScript files folder". Apply the changes and click "OK".
Step 2
If suddenly you see a window that appears with a system message containing "C: WINDOWS uscripts", perform a complete removal of the "Uscripts" folder along with all its contents.
Step 3
Also, use an alternative way to remove the banner if it suddenly interferes with the use of the Opera menu buttons. Open the Task Manager using the keyboard shortcut Alt + Ctrl + Delete. A small window with several tabs will appear on your screen, find the name of the malicious program in the "Applications" and rewrite its name.
Step 4
Open the system registry editor using the "Start" "Run" menu item. In the window that appears, you will see a tree of folders on the left, remove from them all entries associated with the name of the malicious program and shut down the computer.
Step 5
Next, start the operating system in safe mode, this is done by pressing the F8 key when the computer boots. Once logged in, perform a search, specifying the name of the malware in its parameters. When the system finds malicious files, remove them manually from all found directories.
Step 6
Completely delete the contents of the “Temp” folder. It is located on your local drive in the Windows folder. After that, restart your computer to normal mode. Download and install a good antivirus system and anti-Trojan program, perform a full scan of your computer. In the future, do not click on suspicious links and do not open emails from unknown senders.
