A feature of domestic programming is that the author spends 90% of his time creating an excellent program, and only 10% to present it correctly. This approach does not always bring the desired results, because they are still greeted by their clothes.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure the program looks presentable. First of all, this concerns design and interface. In most cases, the user will choose a program that will be convenient to use, rather than a more functional, but less beautiful interface. Therefore, the creation of a beautiful "cover" should be given a separate time - then the software will look much more beautiful and more pleasant on presentation.
Step 2
Prepare a thoughtful presentation. You should not demonstrate the program to the customer without preliminary preparation: for a one-to-one conversation, a well-thought-out sequence of actions and a working build of the project will be enough. During a personal conversation, you can show the program, answer all the questions of interest to the client and mark what he would like to change. If you need to hand over the project to several people at the same time, then it is worth preparing a presentation, and before starting the test show, emphasize in detail the features and advantages of the software.
Step 3
Develop your own public speaking skills. This is especially true for those cases when you have to present to a group of people at once. No matter how good the program is, it will not save if a person cannot confidently and beautifully tell about its advantages. The easiest way to win your favor is to present not on paper, but in a live speech format. Never try to read from the sight, but speak directly to the viewer, gesticulate more actively and, in general, be more "lively" during your performance. This behavior will certainly emphasize not only you as a person, but also your confidence in the quality of the program.
Step 4
Write a mini review. If the program needs to be presented on the Internet in text format, then writing a small text "in support" is the most optimal way to present the project. Be sure to note the unique features of the program, stability and friendly interface, and most importantly - compare with competitors in the field, identify advantages and differences. This will allow the user to decide if he needs this particular program.
