The popular Counter-Strike game allows you to create your own servers for playing on the network, even on the basis of a home computer. If you have such a server, and you configured it for all the requirements of the game, you need to make yourself an administrator of this server to manage connections and settings.
Necessary
the Internet
Instructions
Step 1
Find the configuration file for the KS server users. This document is called users.ini and is contained in the add-ons folder for the game:… / cstrike / addons / amxmodx / configs / users.ini. The file can be edited using regular Notepad. Open the application from the main Windows menu. Open the user configuration file users.ini in Notepad. Before editing the file, make a copy to the hard drive, so that in case of incorrect modification, you can return the settings.
Step 2
At the end of the user's users.ini file, type the following command: "[administrator name]" "[password]" "abcdefghijklmnopqrstu" "a". Now the administrator will log into the server by login and password. Write down the login information in a text file, and hide it on your personal computer in some folder. It is also worth noting that you need to create backup copies of such files so that in case of loss you can restore everything.
Step 3
If you do not want to enter your username and password every time you connect to the server, but prefer the server to recognize you by ip and automatically activate the administration section, configure the administrator by ip. To do this, add similar content to the end of the users.ini service file, just specify your ip-address instead of the administrator name, and leave the password field blank.
Step 4
Save changes to users.ini file and copy to configs folder. Enter the command setinfo _pw [password] in the console and press enter. To simplify the administration process on the KS server, you can do a little trick. Add the line bind "=" "amxmodmenu" to the users.ini file. Now, every time you press the symbol "equal" on the keyboard, the administration menu will open.
