Instructions

Step 1

Please note that widgets can only be installed in the Opera browser for computers. Many of them do not work on mobile phones and tablets. Some versions of the Opera browser for mobile devices are not compatible with widgets at all. At the same time, any of the widgets is cross-platform in the sense that it works regardless of which OS the Opera browser is running under: Linux or Windows. At the same time, widgets are incompatible with any other browsers, except Opera.

Step 2

To download widgets, go to the following site:

widgets.opera.com/ru/

Do not download them from any other sites, as they may be malicious there. Remember that widgets for Opera on the official website are only offered free of charge. Don't fall for any offers to buy such a gadget.

Step 3

A list of widgets will appear, which, according to the authors of the site, are the best and recommended. If you are not satisfied with this, select the gadget manually. To do this, in the menu on the left, click on the link corresponding to the genre you are interested in. Then select the desired widget from the list. If necessary, switch the page using the links below.

Step 4

To download a gadget, click the Install button below its logo. If you click on the logo itself, the page with information about the widget will load. It will also have an Install button.

Step 5

After clicking on the specified button, regardless of its location, the widget will load automatically. After the download is finished, it will automatically start. At the same time, a window will appear asking "Save this widget?" and two buttons: "Yes" and "No". Give it a try, decide if you need it, then click the appropriate button. If the widget does not load, and there are no problems with Internet access, then you have not stopped the operation to try out the previous application.

Step 6

Find widgets that have already been downloaded in the browser menu called "Widgets". Run them from this menu. If you decide to remove any of them, use the "Manage widgets" item in the same menu.
