Unfortunately, now many developers are betting only on this, forgetting about the plot and the general atmosphere of the game. Step 1
It is not necessary to run to the store and buy the next alteration of this console. It is enough to have a computer and appropriate software to plunge into the past. Download one of the best NES emulators (popularly known as Dandy): https://nestopia.sourceforge.net/ (Nestopia v1.40 Binary).
Step 2
Unpack the archive to a place convenient for you.

Open the file "nestopia.exe" to start the emulator. Create a shortcut to this file on your desktop so as not to waste time looking for an exe file on disk in the future.
Step 4
Initially, the program only provides an English interface. In fact, everything is clear, but if you really want to see familiar letters, download the additional archive "Nestopia v1.40 Language Pack" from the same site. Place the file "russian.nlg" in the archive into the subdirectory "language" (in the root folder of the program). In the program, select Options-language-Russian-Ok and restart.
Step 5
Now that the emulator is installed and translated into your native language, you need to download the games themselves. Here the whole Internet will help you. I recommend the site: https://pristavka.kulichki.net/console/nintendo/roms/. It contains a convenient and large catalog of games for dandies and not only. Choose the ones you need and download.
Step 6
In the program, select File-Open. Find the downloaded archive or file. Most likely, a menu with several lines (game version) will appear, select the one you need and click "OK". The game is running.
Step 7
You can find out and configure control for yourself in the Options-Control tab. The program supports up to 4 virtual joysticks, if you can find successful combinations of buttons on one keyboard for 4 people - play with the whole company (a game with two people will not be difficult).
