Vocal processing is almost the final stage of work on the track. At this moment, noises and overtones are removed from the party, the volume is equalized, and effects are added. Professional sound engineers do not disturb the order of actions in the processing of the voice.

Step 1
Removing noise and unnecessary overtones is the first stage of processing. Professionals have long agreed that it is easier to cleanly record a voice than to clean it up later, but this happens very rarely. Therefore, stock up on special programs, noise suppressors. To work with any "denoiser", select a section with silence on a track with a voice. Since there is no silence, but there is a background, noise, you will use it to teach the program what needs to be removed from the rest of the voice sections. Click the "Learn" button. After a few seconds, finish scanning the noise by pressing the button again.
Remove the selection and use the “Reduction” and “Threshold” sliders to remove the overtones.
Step 2
Equalize your voice with your sound editor. You will probably find this one in one of the menus. There are general principles that will make vocals sound good.
The range should be between 60 and 1000 Hertz. Cut all frequencies above and below.
Note the frequencies of 2 kilohertz. Adjust them to bring out all the colors of the timbre.
Step 3
Compression, or loudness leveling, is necessary to make the vocals stand out against the background of the instrumental accompaniment. The sensitivity should be 20 dB, the attack is soft (0-0.1 ms), the attenuation is 80-100 ms. Degree 4: 1.
Step 4
Edit the vocalist's tonal errors, in other words, fake. Using different "presets" of rectifier programs, change the pitch of the notes at your discretion and need. Note that the voice will sound unnatural.
Step 5
Add effects from plugins: echo, reverb, etc.
