There are many ways to modify sound files. Some of them do not even require a special program. All of the methods described below have their advantages and disadvantages. Everyone can find a suitable solution for themselves.

Step 1

Step 2
Click the "Download" button and select the required mp3 file. This is very important, because most of these sites work only with this file format. After loading, a visual audio track will be displayed in the browser window. Select and delete unnecessary parts of the file. Click the Save & Download button to complete the trimming process.
Step 3
If you do not have Internet access, then use the program included with some versions of Windows operating systems. It's called Movie maker. Run this application.
Step 4
Open the File menu and click the Add button. Specify the required file. This program is capable of processing even video files, so there should be no problems with format compatibility.
Step 5
Use the method described in the second step to clear the audio track from unnecessary parts. Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + S, enter the file name and format.
Step 6
Sometimes it is necessary to slightly change the characteristics of a sound fragment. You can change the file type or add specific effects. To do this, use the Sound Forge program. It is one of the most powerful sound editors ever invented.
Step 7
Run the program and open the "Files" menu. Click the Add button. Specify the location of the required file. Cut out excess parts of the audio track. Use special effects to change the quality and volume of playback.
Step 8
Save the final version of the file. In this case, you can choose one of the existing audio file formats from AudioCD to flac.
