A VOB file is an MPEG-2 data container for direct burning to DVD. Some players experience difficulties when working with these files, in other words, they simply do not see them. A converter program can help in this situation. One of the famous converters is Canopus ProCoder.

Instructions
Step 1
Open the video file in the CanopusProCoder converter. Use the Add button at the top left of the program window for this. In the explorer window that appears, select the required file or files and click the "Open" button. To load several files into the converter at once, left-click on them while holding down the Ctrl key.
Step 2
Click on the Target tab. Click the Add button again. A list of available formats will appear. Left-click on the System. A list will appear in the right window, in which select AVI Target or DivX Target. Both options will output an AVI file. Click the OK button.
Step 3
In the right window of the Target tab, configure the conversion parameters. To do this, click on the button to the right of the Path item and specify the location on your hard drive where the resulting file will be saved. By default, the program tries to save it to the C drive, which may not coincide with the user's desire and the availability of free space on this drive. After selecting AVI Target, in the Video Encoder field, select a codec from the drop-down list. If you selected DivX Target, in the Profiles field, select Home Theater (PAL) or Portable PAL from the drop-down list. The latter will result in a smaller file in both megabytes and pixels. Check the Width, Height, Frame Rate and Aspect Ratio values.). If you are not going to change the linear dimensions of the video, these values must match the analogous values of the source file, which can be viewed by clicking on the Source tab.
Step 4
Click on the Convert tab. In the window that opens, check the Preview checkbox. This will allow you to track the video processing progress. Click on the Convert button below the player window. Wait for the converter to finish working.
