Rail transport can significantly reduce travel time in the Minecraft world. To increase travel speed, conventional rails and minecarts are not enough. You will be able to move along the intended path, but extremely slowly. The main accelerator in the game is electric rails, but their manufacture is fraught with a number of difficulties.

Step 1
Gold bars. It is the main component of electric rail. Since gold is quite difficult to mine, electric rails are indeed a valuable building block. There are several ways to go: destroy zombie pigmen, connect gold nuggets, or smelt gold ore. The last method is the simplest and most popular. To create six electric rails, you need to spend six gold bars.
Step 2
Red dust. To do this, you need to find a block of red ore and destroy it with a pickaxe. As a rule, 4-5 units of red dust fall out from one block. She acts as a kind of "wire" in the world of Minecraft. You will need one Red Dust to produce six units of electric rails.
Step 3
Stick. This block is the easiest to get. It is necessary to cut down a tree, make boards from it, and get sticks from the boards. It is the only ingredient used to create both simple and electric rails.
Step 4
Creation. Place gold bars around the edges, place a stick in the center, and red dust below. If you want to create several electric rails at once, increase the amount of resources by a multiple of the number of times. To create the maximum number of rails from the available resources, you need to hold down the Shift key and click on the crafting window.
Step 5
Acceleration. If you just install electric rails next to the usual ones, they will have the opposite effect: the trolley will start to slow down. To avoid this, you need a pressure plate or a red torch. They activate the electric rails, which allows the minecart to pick up speed. However, it will still fall over time.
Step 6
To maintain speed throughout the entire track, electric rails must be constantly alternated with conventional ones. Depending on the situation, the proportion may vary. The best option is 1 electric rail for 25 conventional ones.
