On personal computers, the mouse cursor (pointer) is the main active element of the system operation control. A mouse pointer is a graphical object (usually an arrow) that can be moved around the monitor screen by moving a computer mouse.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the "Start" menu and in the list on the right, click on the line "Control Panel" once with the left mouse button. The menu for setting the basic parameters of the system, computer and its individual components will open.

Find and click once with the left mouse button on the line "Mouse" in the available list. The "Properties: Mouse" dialog box opens, which displays the basic settings for the parameters of the mouse buttons, wheel, pointer type, additional equipment, etc.
Step 3
In the Mouse Properties window, activate the Pointers tab. It shows the selected scheme of design of the mouse pointer and the viewing area of the pointers of this scheme for various system events.
Step 4
Alternatively, you can open the Pointers tab in the Mouse Properties dialog box by opening the Start menu and typing pointer in the Find Programs and Files search bar. In the list of search results that appears, select the line "Change the appearance of the mouse pointer". The Mouse Properties dialog box opens with the Pointers tab already activated.
Step 5
Open the list of index skins. To do this, left-click once on the line with the name of the currently active scheme in the upper part of the properties window.
Step 6
In the list that opens, select the design you like by clicking on the line with its name with the left mouse button once. The "Settings" block will display the pointers used in the selected scheme for various events of the Windows operating system.
Step 7
After selecting the desired design scheme for mouse cursors, click the "Apply" button, and then "OK".
