PDF, or Portable Document Format, is a file format that contains 2D illustrations. These illustrations can be in the form of images, text, or 2D vector graphics. This type of file format was developed by Adobe Systems. Vector objects, drawings, images and texts found on the PDF file can be imported into an AutoCAD DWG file.
Converting PDF files to AutoCAD DWG files, allows users to edit and remove arcs or lines from vector objects imported from a PDF file. The user will need to use the AutoCAD software application to edit the imported drawings from the PDF file. AutoCAD software application is mainly used in the design and development of 2D and 3D images.

Instructions
Step 1
Find AutoCAD Converter software online. Enter keywords in search engines to find the app.
Step 2
Read all rules and requirements carefully before downloading the application.
Step 3
Install AutoCAD Converter on your computer. You can use a free trial.
Step 4
After the installation process, copy the shortcut of the software on your desktop to any folder on your desktop. Click on the AutoCAD Converter icon to launch the program window.

The status bar in the program allows users to select the desired action. You can add the PDF file to the program list first. The list is placed in the center of the program window. This can be done by clicking on the "add PDF file" button located at the bottom left of the application list.
Step 6
Customize the "Output Options" by clicking the corresponding button located on the lower left side of the application window. Select AutoCAD DWG files as output format.
Step 7
Move the mouse pointer over the Action menu, which is located in the upper right part of the program window. Click the Convert button to convert the selected PDF files in the list to AutoCAD DWG files.
