To remove the background from the photo, you first need to determine how complex the outline that we want to cut will be. Of particular difficulty for highlighting is the presence of hair or animal hair in the photo, or a variegated background.

Step 1
Let's take a look at how to remove it using the background eraser. This method will work in that case. When the main image and background contrast well with each other, such as a light background and dark hair.
On straight sections, you can use a tool called Polygonal Lasso. Select with this tool the background next to the rectangular areas of our main image and delete.
Step 2
To select the hair, you need to use a tool called the Background Erazer Tool.
If the background is uniform on the photo, then you can use the following settings: the button in the form of an eyedropper, called “Sampling”, set the parameter “Once” for it. In this case, the program will select a sample color for deletion once. This pattern will remain in effect as long as you move the cursor over the drawing before releasing the mouse button.
Step 3
If you select another button called Continuous, the program will automatically select a new color swatch to remove when it decides it's time to remove another color because the background has changed enough.
You can try to protect the color of the main image from being deleted. To do this, you need to check the Protect Foreground Color line, then click on the color of the main image while holding down the Alt key.
Step 4
The cursor on the Background Eraser tool appears as a crosshair. Set the cursor as close as possible to our main image, but on the pixels of the background, and click the left mouse button. Next, keep the mouse button pressed and move our crosshair along the outline of the main image. In this case, the eraser erases the background color and colors close to it. If you need to erase a different color, then you should select it for the sample and repeat the steps described above.
The above method gives very good results.
