Presentations created in Microsoft PowerPoint are multimedia containers that contain images and audio. To create a simple template that includes a picture and text, you just need to use a text editor from the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Instructions

Step 1

You should start working with a mini-presentation with the preparation of materials: select images and come up with text that will be used. It is advisable to place the corresponding files in a special directory or on the desktop. Run the program and create a new document by pressing the Ctrl + N keyboard shortcut.

Step 2

Enter the original text before inserting the image into the current document (if needed). If you don't need text, go to adding an image. Use the top menu "Insert": select the "Picture" section and the item "From file".

Step 3

In the window that opens, you must specify the item to the special directory into which you copied the necessary files. Directory selection can be made through the top drop-down menu or the side column with tabs on the left side of the window. Select a picture and confirm your choice by pressing the Enter key or the "Save" button.

Step 4

The mini-presentation template can be pasted into the text by copying and pasting the image, in other words, you need to use the clipboard. Open the folder with the files, select the required one, open the context menu and click on the "Copy" line. The context menu opens when you right-click on an object or when you press the corresponding key on the keyboard after selecting the object. Most keyboard manufacturers place it between alt="Image" and Ctrl.

Step 5

Copy and paste commands can always be replaced with keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V or Ctrl + Insert and Shift + Insert. You can also use images in the document by first dragging them with the mouse. You just need to hold down the picture, drag it to the desired window in the taskbar and then select a place to place it in the document.
