Almost all of Opera's menu items can be customized by the user as they see fit. During experimentation or as a result of a browser crash, the element that provides access to the list of bookmarks may be lost and its display in the menu will have to be restored. Sometimes you have to search for bookmarks (more precisely, the file that stores them) when you transfer them to another computer or after reinstalling the OS.

Step 1
In the Opera menu, a complete list of bookmarks is opened using a separate button - it shows a five-pointed asterisk. If it is not displayed in the menu of your browser, right-click on any tab and select the "Appearance" item in the "Customize" section of the context menu.
Step 2
Go to the "Buttons" tab of the settings window that opens and click on the "Browser" line in the "Category" list. Find "Bookmarks" in the list of available buttons and drag it to the browser menu bar. After that, the settings window can be closed.
Step 3
To find a file that stores Opera bookmarks in the native format of this browser, you will need a file manager - launch it, for example, by selecting the "Computer" item in the main Windows OS menu or by pressing the Win + E key combination.
Step 4
Find the address of the file you want in your browser. To do this, open its menu by clicking on the button with the stylized Opera logo or by pressing the Alt key. Go to the "Help" section and select the "About" item. Opera will display a page with a long list of very different information, among which there will be the file address you need - it is placed opposite the “Bookmarks” label in the section named “Paths” and should look something like this: E: UsersDollAppDataRoamingOperaOpera ookmarks.adr.
Step 5
Copy the address to the clipboard - select it and press the key combination Ctrl + C. Then go to the "Explorer" window and left-click the address bar. Paste the copied file address (Ctrl + V), but remove its name - bookmarks.adr from the line. Then press the Enter button on the keyboard, and the file manager will open a window with the contents of the folder in which the desired file is stored. Find it by name, select and copy. After that, the file can be placed on the desired medium, sent by e-mail, moved to a flash drive, etc.
