VirtueMart is one of the most popular components for Joomla sites. However, as happens with almost any extension, it becomes necessary to refine it "for yourself". One of these tasks is to remove the VirtueMart label.
Instructions
Step 1
The first option is suitable for removing the VirtueMart label at the bottom of the pages. It consists in using the settings of the VirtueMart component itself. Open your site's Joomla admin panel. To do this, start an Internet browser, enter the address of your site in the address bar, add “/ administrator” after it and press the Enter key. On the page that opens, in the username field, enter the login, in the password field - the password, and click the Login button.

Next, the administrative panel of your site will open. Go to the next section: "Components" -> VirtueMart -> "Settings" -> "Site". Find the item "Show store logo", uncheck the box next to it and click the "Save" button.
Step 3
The second option is suitable for removing the VirtueMart label from all elements of the site, including the empty shopping cart. To do this, you will need to make certain changes to one of the files included in the Joomla component.
Step 4
Connect via FTP to the server hosting your site. To do this, use one of the clients that support FTP, for example, Total Commander. Select "Network" -> "New FTP-connection", enter the server address, then login and password. Open the directory where the site files are located and navigate to / components / com_virtuemart / themes / default / templates / common /.
Step 5
Find the minicart.tpl.php file in this folder and copy it to your hard drive. After that, open one of the text editors, find the following piece in the code and delete it:

Save your changes. After that, copy the file back to the server, replacing the old one.
