Instructions
Step 1
In order to extract files from an iso format virtual disk, you need a WinRAR archiver. If this program is not already installed on your computer, download and install it. Please note that this must be one of the newest versions of WinRAR, since older versions of this archiver do not support extracting files from virtual disks.
Step 2
Click on the disk image file with the right mouse button. A context menu will appear with the "Extract files" item. Click on it with the left mouse button, after which the main menu of the archiver will appear. In the left window of the program, select the folder where the virtual disk files will be extracted. Then click OK. The file extraction process will begin. The process of unpacking an iso format may take a little longer than unzipping a regular file. Upon completion of the process, all files will be in the folder of your choice.
Step 3
You can also use the fast file extraction method. To do this, select "Extract to current folder" in the context menu of the iso image. In this case, the main menu of the program will not appear, and the files will be extracted to the folder in which the virtual disk is located.
Step 4
You can also extract files from the iso disk image using the "Wizard" of the WinRAR program. This method is better suited for beginners, since only one operation will need to be performed in each separate window of the "Wizard" of the program. This will extract the disk image files.
Step 5
Run the WinRAR program. At the top of the program window, find the "Master" component and click on it with the left mouse button. In the menu that appears, check the "Unpack archive" item and click "Next". In the next window, click on "Browse" and specify the path to the disk image from which the files will be extracted. Then click "Next". In the next window that appears, select the folder where the files will be extracted and click "Finish". The file extraction process will begin.
