Step 1
First, install FrontPage on your computer.
To create a web page, run the program and create a home page - it will be the so-called "home page" of the site. Define the structure of the page and arrange information and menus across it, as well as set the background and design elements. Various templates, ready-made buttons and page fragments can be found ready-made in the program itself.
If you don't feel like creating your home page manually, use a pre-built template or a saved web page from another site.
Step 2
To use a template, select the "Other page templates" section and find a suitable one among the proposed templates. Further development of the page is done on the basis of a ready-made template.
If you like the structure of a page on the Internet, save it to your computer and select the "Create from an existing web page" item in the task area and specify the path to the page, creating a future site based on it.
Step 3
However, one web page is not enough. Most often, the user wants to create a whole website. You can add hyperlinks and generate pages manually by clicking File and New, then open the Other Site Templates section and select Blank Site.
In it, click on the "New Page" button to create a home page. To open the edit mode of the index.htm page, double-click on it. To create additional pages, click on the "New Page" button in the navigation bar, and then fill the pages with content and add structure and design to them.
Step 4
You can also reuse the ready-made website template. In the "Create" section, select "Web site templates" and select the template you like, which will only have to be filled with content and illustrations.
