The increase in boot time is due to a lot of programs (often completely unnecessary) at startup, virus activity and incorrect system settings.
Instructions
Step 1
Check your computer for viruses. This is one of the most common problems resulting in very long loading times. After all, viruses are the same programs, and they take a certain amount of time to run. Update the anti-virus database before scanning. Perform a full system scan and remove any virus files found. Reboot your system.
Step 2
Check the programs that you have at startup. You probably don't need many of them. Click Start - Run. On the line to enter the command, write msconfig. Run the program. On the "startup" tab, the checkboxes mark the programs that start when the system boots. Disable unused. Reboot your computer. The next time you boot, the system will notify you of the changes in startup. Check the "do not display this warning again" checkbox. If it suddenly turns out later that you have disabled the program you need from startup, run msconfig again and check the box next to the desired program.
Step 3
Check your system startup settings. My Computer - Properties - Download and Restore. If you have several systems, then by default the system waits for a selection of thirty seconds. You can reduce this time to three to five seconds.
