The main condition for setting password protection for an individual folder in the Microsoft Windows operating system is to use the NTFS file system, since in the FAT32 file system only network access restrictions to the selected folder are possible. But there are other options as well.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "My Computer" item to perform the operation of setting password protection for the selected folder.

Define the folder to be changed in the access parameters and call the context menu of the found element by right-clicking.
