Step 1
First, turn on your computer or laptop. Wait for the Windows operating system to fully load. Now connect a Canon printer to your PC. Usually this connection is made via the USB interface. The printer has a USB-B port for this purpose.

Connect the printing device to an AC power source. Turn on the printer and wait for the device to boot up. The operating system will then automatically initialize the detected peripheral equipment.

Open a custom text document and try sending it to print. If the system displays an error related to the missing printer, update the drivers for this device.

Launch your browser and open the official website of the Canon manufacturer. Click on the "Support" link and select the "Driver Catalog" category. Fill out the form provided. In the Country column, specify the Russia parameter. This will allow you to download the Russian language application.
Step 5
Now, in the Product field, specify Printers or Multifunctionals. The second category is for multifunction devices, and the first is for printers only. Select the specific hardware model and click the Go button.
Step 6
After moving to a new page, select the "Software" category. Wait for the list of available applications to open. Find a program that can work with the active operating system. Click on its name.
Step 7
Activate the item "I accept the terms of the agreement" by checking the box next to it. Click the Download button. After the file is completely saved to the hard disk of the computer, double-click on it with the left mouse button. Install the downloaded software. Restart the printing device and computer.
