A browser can be compared to an "Operating System" for working on the Internet, and it is not surprising that users pay special attention to the selection and detailed configuration of this kind of programs on their PCs. However, the customization process sometimes ends before it starts, due to the impossibility of choosing the interface language, as, for example, in Opera.

Instructions

Step 1

Download another build of the browser. There are three main configuration options for Opera: portable, modified and original. If the third is released directly by developers, then the first two are more often created by ordinary users and do not necessarily have support for the Russian language (due to internal restrictions). Therefore, it is highly advisable to install only Opera downloaded from the official site.

Step 2

You can download the regular and international versions of the browser. They differ from each other in language packs: the second has several built-in languages, the first requires additional downloads.

Step 3

Launch any downloaded browser option. In the upper left corner you will see a button labeled Opera, which should be clicked. A small menu will open.

Step 4

Select Settings, "Settings". Inside it - "General settings".

Step 5

In the window that appears, go to the "Basic" tab, and there - to the lowest item Language, "Language". Depending on the browser version, you can choose "Russian language" or "Download additional languages". In both cases, after selecting, click on the "apply" button: the interface will be completely Russified. However, the program cannot yet recognize Russian handwritten input.

Step 6

In order for the messages entered to you to be automatically checked for spelling and not underlined with a red wavy line - install the appropriate package. Right-click on any input field and select Spell Check. An additional menu with already installed test options and the line "Load additional languages" will be displayed. Obviously, if Russian is already installed, you need to click on it: it will automatically be installed by default. Otherwise, select the download menu, find the Rus-Ru line there and click "Download".
