Many Internet resources, when registering a mailbox, in addition to specifying the name, surname and date of birth, recommend leaving a secret question in case you forget your password. Typically, the main security questions are "mother's maiden name", "passport number" or "first telephone number". But not everyone knows how to change the secret question to a password.

Step 1
Go to the portal where your e-mail is posted, and next to the fields "Login" and "Password" pay attention to the item "Forgot your password". If there is no way out other than using the secret question, then click on this item and wait for a redirect.
Step 2
Then you will be offered an alternative and it will appear: "I remember the login, but I do not remember the password" or "I do not remember either the password or the login". Select the item that suits your situation and click next.
Step 3
You will see a secret question that was specified during registration. Answer it and follow the next link.
Step 4
You will be prompted for a new password. Come up with an easy and memorable option, enter it in the required field, repeat again in the field next to it and enter the code shown in the picture. It has nothing to do with your new password, but will only verify that you are really a human being, and not a part of artificial intelligence.
Step 5
Click "Finish" and use your mailbox without any problems.
