The address bar is often a necessary element of the menu, but for some reason Microsoft developers decided to remove it from the interface in the latest versions of operating systems. You can use third party utilities here.
Necessary
access to the Internet
Instructions
Step 1
If you have lost the address bar in the explorer, go to any folder on your computer or click on the "Tools" item and enable its display. If you have the Windows XP Service Pack 3 operating system installed (you can see it in the computer properties by right-clicking on it), it is impossible to return the address bar. Here you will have to use special utilities to customize the appearance of the system.
Step 2
If you want to enable the display of the address bar in your web browser, also open its appearance settings and select the appropriate item. Also, for some browsers, enabling the address bar is only available from the system appearance settings panel. By default, it is enabled in all browsers, so its disappearance may be due to viruses in your computer, of course, if you did not remove it yourself from the menu. In this case, it is best to perform a full computer scan using an antivirus program with updated databases.
Step 3
If the address bar disappeared from the menu after you installed any third-party program, use the utility for restoring the state of the operating system. The rollback point is created manually by the user or by the program itself during installation. Go through the "Start" menu item in the standard software utilities and run "System Restore".
Step 4
Use the arrows to find the rollback point on the calendar preceding the installation of this program, after which the address bar disappeared, then roll back the system. Please note that all the software and operating system settings you made will return to the state at that time. The files will remain, but the moved items will return to their original locations.
