Instructions
Step 1
Install outguess. Most likely, you will first need to install a program that implements steganography methods, for example, outguess. For example, to install on Ubuntu, you need to run the command sudo apt-get install outguess. If you have problems with the installation, refer to the help information for your distribution.
Step 2
Get everything you need ready. To encrypt information in an image using the outguess program, we need to come up with a password, select an image (medium) and prepare a text file with the necessary information.
Step 3
Run outguess. To run, we need any terminal emulator (command line). Run example: outguess -k "password" -d hidden_information.txt input_image.
Step 4
Wait for completion. The encryption operation will not take long. After its completion, the resulting image is ready for further use.
