It often happens that program passwords are forgotten. It is not so easy to restore them, so you have to resort to the help of special utilities. How to remove a forgotten password from the program?
Instructions
Step 1
Download on the Internet or purchase a CD with the ERD commander program. This will help remove the password. If we are talking about a password to enter the operating system, then do the following. Insert the ERD commander CD into your drive. Then go to bios.
Step 2
To do this, while the computer boots up, the delete button. Make the drive bootable. To do this, go to the BOOT section and change the boot status of the drive from C to E. Save the changes to bios and restart the computer.
Step 3
Wait for the ERD commander to load. Go to the System tools section, in it select the Lock Smith item. This is necessary in order to remove the old password and assign a new one.
Step 4
Select the system user for whom you would like to change the password. Set a new password, then confirm it. Close the program and restart your computer.
Step 5
Start your operating system. If you want to completely remove the password from the program or from the operating system itself, then this can be done exclusively from the user settings. Using the Microsoft Windows operating system as an example, it looks like this.
Step 6
Enter the "Start" button menu, then "Control Panel". Since you have administrator rights on your own personal computer, it will not be difficult to remove the password, but if you do not have these rights, then nothing can be done.
Step 7
A window will appear in front of you. Find the icon labeled "User Accounts" in it. Double click on it with the left mouse button. To remove the password, enter the old one to confirm the "legality" of these actions.
Step 8
Then cancel the password. This can be done in the same way in any other program. Log in as a legitimate user and deselect the login password if you have administrator rights.
