Instructions
Step 1
If you accidentally deleted an important document, then first make sure that it is not in the "Trash". Open this utility and examine the contents of the folder where the deleted files are stored. Click on the required document with the right mouse button and select "Restore". If you have completely deleted the file, then download and install the Easy Recovery program.
Step 2
Remember that if the remote file was located on the local C drive, then it is better to install the program on a different disk partition. When installing the application on the same local disk, you can overwrite the sectors in which deleted files are stored. Start recovering data immediately after deleting it if you want to increase the likelihood of its successful completion.
Step 3
Launch Easy Recovery and select the "Data Recovery" menu. After opening a new window, click on the "Recover deleted files" item. After a menu appears with a list of available sections, select the one from which the file was recently deleted. Check the box next to Full Scan.
Step 4
In the File Filter box, select the Office Documents template. Click the "Next" button and wait while the program scans the specified hard disk partition and prepares the files for recovery.
Step 5
Now find the required file in the left window of the menu that appears, select it by checking the box next to it, and click the "Save" button. Specify the disk partition and folder to save the recovered file. Click the "Next" button and wait for the program to finish running.
Step 6
Restore the integrity of the document using the File Repair menu in Easy Recovery. Sometimes it helps to restore the original state of a document that was damaged during the recovery process.
