The unpleasant noise of the system unit annoys many computer users. There are several ways to get rid of it. Some of them do not require financial costs, while others are quite expensive.

Step 1
Let's immediately clarify one important nuance: only a few manage to completely get rid of noise in the system unit, and even then after a complete replacement of the cooling system. Therefore, we will try to reduce the block noise as much as possible.
Step 2
The main reason for the unpleasant sounds emitted by the system unit is dirty or damaged coolers. Fans of various sizes installed on the back of the unit, video card, processor heatsink and other devices accumulate a fair amount of dust over time. In addition, the bearings built into these fans gradually wear out.
Step 3
Open the included system unit and find the cause of the noise. Identify devices that are making an unpleasant sound. Turn off the unit and remove the required fans. Take a cotton swab, soak it in an alcohol solution and wipe the cooler blades with it.
Step 4
Remove the sticker from the center of the fan. If you see a metal axle, you're in luck. Place a small amount of silicone grease or machine oil on this axle. Grasp the cooler blades and move them up and down. Replace the fan.
Step 5
With a different type of cooler, you have to tinker a little. Remove the plug located under the sticker. Remove the rubber retaining ring and washer. Remove the blades from the metal axle. Lubricate this axle and put a little oil in the hole in the vane disc. Assemble the fan and reinstall it.
Step 6
If the fans were not damaged during the cleaning process, the noise level of the system unit will return to its original value.
Step 7
If you want to completely get rid of any noise in the system unit, replace the entire cooling system. Buying new fans is an ineffective method. Install a cooling system built using copper pipes. This method is very expensive, but it will reduce the noise of the system unit to almost zero.
