Instructions

Step 1

First, determine for yourself the type of the future local network. It is possible to create a wireless network, but this option requires additional financial costs and is irrational in the case of two stationary computers. Stop at a cable connection. Purchase a network cable.

Step 2

Connect the network cards of the two computers together. If you plan to configure synchronous Internet access, then you will need a total of three network adapters.

Step 3

Open the settings of the resulting network connection on a computer that will have direct access to the Internet. Go to the properties of the network adapter and select "Configure TCP / IP".

Step 4

Set a permanent (static) IP address for this adapter, the value of which will be, for example, 45.45.45.1.

Step 5

Open a similar item on the second computer. Change the parameters of the following items:

- IP address 45.45.45.2

- Subnet mask is determined by the system

- Preferred DNS server 45.45.45.1

- The main gateway 45.45.45.1.

Step 6

Go to the first computer. Open the properties of the network adapter connected to the internet. Select the Access menu. Allow the local network formed by your two computers to access this Internet connection.

Step 7

Save the settings. Reconnect to the Internet. In this case, you can exchange information between computers, as well as simultaneously use an Internet connection.
